TWs: racism, alcoholism, homophobia, xenophobia, death, mental illness
This is an excellent dystopian novel - slow to start, but a kick in the teeth by the time you're halfway through!
It has foci of homophobia, segregation, and slavery, and Coleman really does highlight these well in contrast to those who are white (privileged) in so called Safetown.
A must read.
