Review: Medea/Hecabe/Electra/Heracles by Euripides

Euripides makes these plays fun by adding a sense of mockery to each tale. There is a lot going on in each play, and often times I needed to reread sections to understand what was going on. Rating: 3/5

Review: Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger

A light and very entertaining read, set in steampunk 1800s. It is  full of great ideas and great worldbuilding, however the plot wasn't quite thick enough for my tastes. The book did tick the box for me, as it felt sort of spy-like. Rating: 3/5

Higher Institute of Villainous Education by Mark Walden

An interesting concept for a book, however it had so many cliches and a bland writing style. The book started off reallllllllllllly slowly and then the last 100 or so pages went by so fast. As a one-off read, it was enjoyable enough to keep me satisfied though. Rating: 3/5

Review: Not if I Save You First by Ally Carter

This book was a quick and enjoyable survival story filled with action and adventure. It had some highs (such as an exciting premise, easy writing, as well as very decent pacing), it also has a few lows (a perceptibly shallow character depth, and some rather unrealistic moments). An entertaining book nonetheless! Rating: 4/5
