Review: The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
This is a disturbingly frightening journey through the mind of a young girl suffering from depression in the 1950's. It's amazing to draw the comparisons to how depression is treated in the present now, and how medical advancements have changed the way depression is managed.
This is such a powerful and poignant semi-autobiographical novel.
Rating: 4/5
