Review: Persuasion- Jane Austen

I honestly struggled to read the first half of the book, however I did enjoy the detail given for every character of importance. I liked how Persuasion focused on societal standings, reconnecting, and second chances- focusing mainly on the rather 'high-class' Elliot family, namely the bland and plain Anne. Once I picked the book up as an audiobook, it was much easier to immerse myself into the book.
