Review: Cross Game Books 1&2 (volumes 1-5)

I feel as if this is a basic coming of age shonen manga. However, I feel that the story is well developed and deserves its credit. The graphics are sometimes very bare, although in the more intense scenes, it is very, very graphic. Overall the story plot is good, but it is missing a lot of character development on one of the main characters. My feelings towards this series is that it is a good Sunday afternoon read.
